23 sailors travelled to Portrush over the weekend for the year's first event.
With the weather not great on Saturday, the sailors took the cultural trip to visit the Giant’s Causeway instead. On Sunday, the wind finally settled, allowing us to get a few hours of sailing in. UG 1 finished 3rd in Gold Fleet B, while UG 2 and UG 3 battled it out in Silver Fleet. Unfortunately, with limited sailing time and races, there was no final.
Overall, it was a great start to the event year, and we’re all looking forward to the next one in Rathmullan!
